Why intern at Full Spectrum Therapy?

Full Spectrum Therapy (FST) is a trans-owned mental health company in Portland, Oregon. FST primarily serves youth and adult queer and trans clients, and our team has specialized training in providing gender-affirming services.

FST provides mental health services to a diverse population, including lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and gender diverse individuals (LGBTQ+).

Affirming care for LGBTQ+ clients and other marginalized communities is central to FST’s clinical model. FST maintains a clinical environment grounded in evidence-based, culturally competent, and affirming mental health care.

Quality is Key: Our commitment is rooted in the pursuit of excellence. We prioritize approaches that are backed by evidence. Our actions and decisions are consistently guided by trauma-informed principles. We believe the therapeutic journey begins the moment someone connects with us for the very first time.

COMMITMENT TO LIBERATION

All work at FST is centered on our core values. One of these values is Liberation For All. We firmly believe in the power of diversity and the importance of liberation for mental well-being. Our foundational principles are built upon the tenets of diversity, equity, accessibility, and liberation. We pride ourselves on being a supportive workplace. Tailored, supportive measures are integral to our values and operations. Our dedication to the welfare of our communities extends inwards, emphasizing the well-being and care of our deeply valued staff members.
