With the current state of the world, it is important more than ever to use communities as a source of resiliency and growth. Systematic oppression works to drive us apart by imposing systems of power imbalances and it is imperative not only to address this but to deconstruct them through connection. My work as a counselor is driven by this ideology and I want to use the therapeutic space as an opportunity to work through traumatic experiences and identity exploration.

As a student intern, I am pursuing a Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northern Arizona University. My internship coordinator is William “Pit” Kolodinsky, PhD, LPC, and at Full Spectrum Therapy, I am supervised by Julie Cloutier, LPC.

My theoretical interests are narrative therapy, relational cultural theory (RCT), as well as attachment theory.

I have experience treating individuals navigating relationship dynamics, romantic or platonic, as well as anxiety and life transitions. I am open to other diverse learning experiences where you and I as counselor and client can work together through what’s impacting your life.

I identify as a white, hispanic, genderqueer, sapphic pansexual, who is plus sized. I work to model the importance of showing up as your true authentic self within the therapeutic space. I come to the space understanding the importance of addressing power imbalances head on and approaching the therapeutic relationship with unconditional positive regard.

When I’m not in the office, I love spending time with my spouse and our pets. Nothing is better than unwinding on the couch with some good food and a bingeable tv show or a good book.

Exploring your emotions or trauma can feel like going through the first chapters of your hero’s journey. Recruiting some members to your party can make the experience all the more enriching. I look forward to the opportunity to be a part of your expedition through therapy and life.
