Lucina Hallowhen Chapman
(she/her)
qualified mental health professional
My name is Lucina Chapman. My focus is to work with clients in a way that addresses their goals, challenges, and needs in an open safe environment. We will adjust our session and techniques to best support the goal of improving your daily life.
As a white, queer, polyamorous transgender woman, I seek to aid the queer community and others in surviving, living, and thriving no matter what the world throws at them.
To aid in your journey, I will incorporate techniques and tools like mindfulness, trauma informed care, skill building, and an intersectionality perspective. My therapeutic modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Person Centered Therapy.
Every client is different and experiences their challenges differently. It is important to me to work with clients where they are. We will develop plans and address any changes that come up together. Sessions will be open and flexible to explore your areas of need and interest. This can include things like gender, queerness, relationships, polyamory, life transitions, one's environment, systems, fears, hopes, dreams, and special interests in relation to one's mental health, as well as resources that might be helpful to you.
I enjoy filling my life with things like cosplay, magic tricks, hypnosis, philosophy, table top games, card games, as well as spooky cute things like bats, snakes with witch hats, preserved flower crowns, haunted board games, and living life as if halloween/twilight zone was only an hour away.
As a QMHP-R who is seeking to progress to a Clinical Social Work Associate, I am currently supervised by Paige Myers-Matthews, LPC, CADC 1.
