Psychiatric medical management

My Philosophy
If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed, misunderstood, or unsure where to begin, you deserve care that meets you with steadiness and respect. My approach honors both your symptoms and your lived experience, focusing on safety, dignity, and collaboration rather than quick fixes or one-size-fits-all solutions.

What Sessions With Me Look Like
Sessions offer a calm, thoughtful space where you feel heard and supported. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, identity-related stress, or major life transitions, we work together to clarify what’s happening and decide on next steps that align with your goals. Medication decisions are collaborative and paced to your needs.

More About Me
As a gay man, I bring both lived experience and professional expertise to my work with LGBTQ+ clients, including many transgender and gender-diverse individuals. I understand the impact of minority stress, identity development, and healthcare mistrust, and I strive to create a space where you don’t have to explain, justify, or defend who you are.

Education
I bring over 17 years of experience as a nurse practitioner in complex medical and psychiatric settings. I am board-certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP-BC), with advanced certification in hospice and palliative care and formal training in integrative and psychedelic-assisted therapy approaches.
