Full Spectrum Therapy Mission Statement

To serve and empower the LGBTQ+ community through affirming counseling and care.

Who We Serve

Full Spectrum currently serves over 300 clients, ranging from youth and adolescents to couples and families. Over 90% of our clients are on Medicaid, which means we uniquely serve a population that otherwise may not have access to high-quality gender-affirming mental health services. We offer several therapeutic groups that are formed in response to community need and provider passion; these groups offer our clinicians an opportunity to work together to explore a particular modality (such as somatics or art therapy) or mental health experience (such as social anxiety). While working at Full Spectrum, our clinicians are empowered to continue their professional journeys with our support. Current clinicians have secured continuing education in EMDR, psychedelic integration services, eco therapy, and more!

Full Spectrum Therapy Core Values

Serve the Community: Full Spectrum seeks to empower the LGBTQ+ experience through the advocacy and support of our clients. We aim to have staff who are personally connected to the communities we serve-- It’s not just counseling; it’s personal.

Create Strong Relationships: We believe everyone deserves affirming counseling-- we normalize, understand, and celebrate the LGBTQ+ experience. We care personally for each other—strong, supportive relationships are at the core of our work.

Liberation for All: We know diversity is strength and liberation is vital to good mental health. At Full Spectrum Therapy, diversity, equity, accessibility, and liberation are at the core of all we do. We believe in children’s human rights, including the right to self-determination. We are an accommodations-first employer—individualized, accommodative support is built into our workplace. Our vision is to eliminate mental health stigma by creating awareness and appreciation for mental health care within our team and community.

Quality is Key: Full Spectrum Therapy is committed to investing in quality. We focus on evidence-based practices. We are trauma-informed in all we do. We embrace constructive feedback. We believe treatment starts in the waiting room and aim to create the best atmosphere for our clients and our team. We offer top-of-the-line technology to make telehealth services an excellent experience for both provider and patient.
